ITS ONLII ABOUT 5'......MY MOM MADE ME GIVE IT BAKK 2 MY UNCLE
SHE WAS SO FREAKKED OUT
I COULDNT GET A PIC.....HE LET GO AFTER HE BIT ME
THANKFULLY
That tells me that neither you nor your mom have a lot of snake keeping epxerience. Boas usually do not bite for no reason, 99% of time they bite when they see a human as a threat (very common) or see humans as food (less common with small boas). All I can do is hope that your Uncle has some decent snake handling skills.

I have a 7' boa that I'm trying to work with more. He has bitten me twice and now I'm a little gun shy around him.
The first time he bit was just after a shed and I should have left him alone. Fortunately, he just grabbed my shirt and my husband caught him. The second time I was taking him out of cage and he decided he didn't want to come out and bit me on the wrist. It was a quick bite, but I had a nasty bruise there. How did your bite look?
The thing with this snake is that they were such slow bites, like slow motion, made when he was crawling. The first I figure was because he was uncomfortable and the second I figure he was threatened/protesting. But I can't remember seeing any particular warning signs. Now whenever I have to take him out of his cage, my pulse quickens and I just feel very nervous. It's crazy. So I make myself work with him a few times a week so the snake gets more handling time and I can get over this strange reaction with him.
Whenever I get bit by anything, I try to look back over what I was doing and use it as a learning experience. _________________ Laura R (FL)

I know I was bit because it was 2 close to my face. My mom jus got freaked out and doesnt want any of the little kids getting bit. So thats why I had to give it back. If it was up to me I would've kept it. I've had it for 2 years.
And yes my uncle has quite a few reptiles. He knows his stuff. _________________ MELVIN
