also, bad mites are red. wood mites are white, and springtails look like small white fleas that jump.

only the red ones can drink blood.

the springtails are running rampant in my baby tegus tank and i'm of the group that believes it's a good thing.

springtails eat lizard poop and poop nutrient. works for me.
