has a lot of red on his head is that normal?

I am no expert, but from what i have seen, the green fades to brown and then over time, that too will fade to the black and white..

Yes, many do have red colouring on their heads or elsewhere on their bodies. It usually doesn't stay as strong as in T.rufescens , often fading to more of a salmon pink colour.

I looked in your album to get a better idea of what the 'red' looked like...
It's just the fading that all Argentine black and whites go through. It's indeed normal.
