I have a wooden bookcase, that i am making into an enclosure for a baby black and white tegu. It is 3 feet long, 2.5 wide, and then is 11 inches tall.

Would the 11 inches be alright for baby or what would you reccommend?

As long as you have a top on the enclosure, it should be fine temporarily, however it's going to outgrow an enclosure of that size very fast - Time to start working on a larger enclosure icon_wink.gif

8x3x3 would be reccomended to house an adult Argentine B&W - You can always partition a section off, and graduate the size as the Tegu grows - The Argentine B&W Tegu can reach 3 foot or better in it's 1st year without hibernating icon_eek.gif
