Well Deuce was named because he has a 2 on his neck in his pattern..and it's very cute. BUT my 2 youngest sons have a problem pronouncing s, th and c sounds in certain words like Deuce, the c in Deuce is pronounced incorrectly and doesn't sound good. Well any ways I think Deuce is learning his name, how bad will it mess him up if I change his name to somthing thats easier for my kids to pronounce correctly? How long do you think it would take for him to learn his new name?
Thanks
Becky

Nice pic icon_wink.gif - I think once you pick out the new name and start using it daily, he will figure it out and just refrain from saying Deuce around him, so not to confuse him. My Colombian went for almost 3 months without a name - I was just calling it Tegu - Now I call him by name and no longer call him Tegu and he responds to that ...

My columbian should have been named Deuce as a youngster-because he took a deuce on my hand every time i handled him for the first 3 months. But since you already had the name, and now he is much better to handle...someone else can take the name icon_biggrin.gif
