Hey right now I have about a 40 gallon so I can temporarily house my tegu. I was lookin into cages and found the Reptarium 260 gal, it measures 6' long 3' wide and 3' high, I was wondering if that was a suitable size for him when he is older? It is lightweight, collapsable, and cheap, I think it ranges around 90 bucks... Ideas anybody???

Oh and I can also get a substrate liner for it for around 20-30 dollars extra....
visit reptarium.com so you can see them....
And your tegu will tear through it in very little time.
I have/use those cages, and they are NO GOOD for any lizard of decent size (ie. any bigger than something like a Sceloporid or Scincid) that tends to dig a lot.
A baby Ctenosaura of mine destroyed one of those cages, and if a baby Ctenosaura can, an adult tegu will have no problem either.
