What does everyone think about buying things at low prices, and than selling high, good or bad thing?

If you get a super good deal on something and sell it at a higher (but reasonable value), I see no problem with it. Just as long as you aren't misrepresenting what you are selling or leaving out information just to make a profit. Those people are called dirtbags and need to be extinguished.

so as long as I give the buyer 100% information on the things that I sell it'll all be good? or does the person whos selling to me, need to know that I will probably sell some and make a profit?

Well if they are giving it to you because they think you will take care of it, then it's probably not cool to sell it considering they are assuming the opposite. How much profit could you really make anyway? Is it worth such a moral dilema that you must ask other people? Do what you think you should do. If you need to make money, get a job.

How about buy low, sell for the same or lower. LOL. icon_biggrin.gif

That's what I am doing right now on some things to move them fast.

I don't see a problem as long as you didn't buy low because the animal was sick and are trying to sell high without disclosing any problems.

As long as you give the buyers accurate information when it comes time to resell, you should be fine.

The world operated by buying low and selling at a profit.

Buying a healthy animal and selling it for a few bucks profit is perfectly fine. If you can get 10 cornsnakes wholesale for $100.00 ($10.00 each) plus shipping and you can sell them locally for $15 to $20 then you are doing ok. Often you need to sit on them as well as pump more money into them for housing, food, etc.

its fine as long as you arent cheating someone

take for example something completely out of the realm of reptiles, say comic books

lets say someone sells you the first superman comic book ever printed for 10 dollars, and you go and look it up and see how much its value is and you see that it well exceeds that 10 dollars, now selling it for market price would not be unfair as long as pages arent ripped or whatever

so you see it translates, you arent actually stealing from people just benefitting from a situation that is positive for you
