I bought this little one to replace a blue I had a few years ago, and its just not the same. I bought it from Ron and Stella St Pierre. Feeding on crix, roaches, and an occassional pinkie. Has a minor tail nip, maybe an inch, barely noticable. Will sell for $65 plus shipping, or trade for ????

Hello, i am new here, just joined. Someone named Rick told me about
this forum.
I too just got a Tegu from Stella St Pierre. Mine too has a Tail nip.
Why does all there Tegu's have tail nips i wonder?
But, my little girl is so mean!!!!! She actually attacks me. I can't stand it. No matter how much i hold her, it's the same ole thing. She is a great big meanie. I just wanted to say hi, and say i hope you find her a good home. This man won my auction on Repti-bid on the 21st of December, said he sent my money on the 23rd. It's now the 29th, no money. Emailed him several times. I hate people who do that. I was just asking $45 for mine, what i paid for her. But, oh well. Such is life right?

Rick is me.
Where are the two of you physically located. Prices are right and someone with time can tame an untamed tegu with some work, but those local to you would be more interested since they would save a bundle picking it up instead of paying huge shipping costs.
Either of you near Maine? (or New Hampshire.. I am headed to an expo there in less than a couple weeks with a few friend and my wife.)
As far as the nips, it normally happens when you have multiple tegus all being fed in the same area. They all compete and the high feeding response with a handful of hungry tegus can be a bad thing for fragile tails.
If either of you is still selling your tegu please email me with pics at dude50052@yahoo.com and Im located in fl I might be able to pick up the tegu depending on where you live. thanks
