I know females are supposed to be smaller, but my girl Pandora is getting huge! I will post measurements soon but I'm pretty sure she is over 2 feet.. She is from Ricks Hatchlings. Its incredible to see the variations that came from the same litter. Also, I think her head is turning white! I'm getting a 7 foot cage soon and be posting pics of that as well.

I try to feed her as many different foods as she will eat..
When she was young I fed her alit of insects, fortified turkey, nightcrawlers, fish, shrimp, and sometimes mice. Now that she is older I am trying to integrate fruits as well. I usually feed her in the mourning and in the afternoon if she is still hungry. She still loves hunting down crickets (good exercise) so I get a bagful a week for her.

Its been a year since I got my hatchling from Rick and I could not be happier with my tegu. Rick has managed to breed tegus that are not only healthy but also tame. My tegu is pretty much dog tame at this point although ultimatetly it still does whatever it wants Its been a while since I posted anything but since its been a year and because of a surprising turn of events, I decided to write this post. Well, I pretty much believed all along that it was just too big to be a female considering the age, and about 3 months ago that suspicion was verified when I saw hemipenes. I wanted a male anyway! Here are some pics of my MALE yearling...
