I have a 48"X24"X18" enclosure for my tegu. How much longer would she be able to stay in this enclosure? She is 27", 700 Grams. I am in the process of making an outside enclosure, but it won't be ready until summer. Thanks!

Katie

If she didn't grow any for the next 5 months, you'd be fine - unfortunately I don't believe they stop growing due to cage size - She's probably due to upsize now at that size, however under the circumstances you may be able to squeeze a few more months out, depending on her growth rate - Worse case throw something together a little bigger when the time comes to house her till the outside enclosure is ready...
