I've kept both a Colombian Black, and a Gold as well - I think they were more defensive than aggressive in a sense that, although I was bitten by my Black, He felt cornered under the tv stand and bit in defense.
What I'm getting at is, the Colombians "for the most part" IME never attacked my hand, however would see my hand as a threat that they did not trust - Get a little too close to their comfort zone, and they would react.
My Gold would throw a tizzy anytime my hand was in the enclosure - huffing, whipping, snapping, running - However was quite manageable outside of the enclosure - You could scoop him up, set him on your leg, pet him and he was cool - Put him back in and leave your hand there for a few seconds, and the threat was there.
My Black was the opposite - Stick your hand in there and he was chill "although we would keep a watchful eye on one another".
Once he was out of the enclosure, and time to get him back in - You could not get near him without him freaking out, so getting him back in was a task...
Some have had better luck with calming the Colombians down though _________________ 1.0.0 Ball Python "Albino"

I've used cypress, repti-bark, and eco-earth on them with no problems, I prefer cypress out of the three.
When they got bored with chasing bugs, my Gold would eat turkey with fruit, insects, snails, mixed in with the turkey as well as rodents - My Gold was never introduced to eggs... _________________ 1.0.0 Ball Python "Albino"
