My new bd is starting to get really mean well i gueess not mean but he opens his mouth and puffs out his lil beard when i go to handle him or clean his cage he bit me twice it didnt hurt seeing as he is still very small but i dont him to be thinking biting me is ok any suggestions or input from other bd owners?

have you showed him any attention lately? have you feed him on schedule? Do you have a breeding pair and the female is in heat?

i pick him up everyday and feed him on time and hes by himself

Perhaps now he feels comfortable in his new cage he feels confident enough to try and drive you away. Ignore it and give him plenty of contact (not necessarily picking up...try just touching him or putting a hand near) and he will probably get over it.
