It can exist in the faeces of any living creature I believe; they all have the potential to be carriers, including dogs and cats etc. Reptiles seem to get a bad rep for it, when really there are very few (if any) actually recorded cases of reptiles giving someone salmonella poisoning. Washing your hands after handling the animal and any waste should eliminate any risk - which is what people should be doing anyway _________________ www.freewebs.com/johelian www.freewebs.com/joslittleworld

Its not just egg laying beasties as you can get it from pork too I think..? Im pretty sure that anything that comes into contact with contaminated meat or faeces etc can potentially become a carrier. _________________ www.freewebs.com/johelian www.freewebs.com/joslittleworld
