Hello all, I was wondering if the sex of the tegu is effected by temp. or is it a matter of genetics. reason im asking is im takeing genetics this fall and will have be able to use the lab. So i thought why not do a study on tegu and see if I couldnt find away to tell the gender of hatchlings.. Thought it might be of interest to you breeders out there, so tell me what you think.

Thank you for your time,

Sean Robertson

Thanks for pointing that out. So let me ask another question is anyone interested in sending me sheds from adult males and females for me to do my study on.. Also blood samples from adults might be of help as im sure there are hormonal diffrences in the two.

Thank you for your time

Sean,

Email me. Let me know where you will be studying and who you will be studying under. I'd try to be of any assistance I can.
