if there are parasites in poop, can they actually move? In other words, a Tegu poops in the cage, can parasites from that poop spread on their own power or do they stay in the poop until something foreign comes in contact with it?

I believe that some, eg some worms, can move on an extremely limited level, eg to immediately surrounding substrate or whatever, but Im pretty sure that they cant actually move to other parts of the cage. The biggest problem is the rep getting poop on part of it and shifting it around/moving infested substrate.
