Yes, but I use a old microwave. You can get one cheap at a yard sale, flea market or salvation army store.
But when you use a regular oven, you can put a thin layer on a sheet pan. set it on 300 and let it bake for 20-30 minutes. Repeat this process until you have enough to fill your enclosure. _________________ www.tegu.com and www.Varnyard-herps-inc.com

As for the time in the microwave, it would be long enough to get it hot all the way through. You could put a fair amount in it, I like to use a plastic bag.
