I just got a tegu not all that long ago and am wondering if they hibernate.
And if they do how should i set up her cage to deal with it. By the way she is a colombian black and white. I am new to the tegus but own 2 water dragons. Any info will help thanks.

when i first got her she was about 1 year old. i have had her for a few months now. At first i thought she was a he so i named her monty. Only after i took her to the vet did i find out it was a girl. that's when she peed all over the vet. no pics yet, but soon i hope. she gets along very well with my adult water dragon, but not so well with my 2 year old water dragon. Thanks for your help

be very careful with the water dragons and tegu thing. a tegu can crush the skull of a water dragon in seconds, or less. you wouldn't even have a reaction time to that... just forewarning you... because once it happens, it's gone. _________________ -Art-
