Wow! That's a good looking boy (I think) !
Congrats!
If you're looking for good info Melissa Kaplan's "Iguanas for Dummies"
is a great book. It's about $22 new but you can find it cheap (and other
reptile books) on half.com.

Congratulations man, reminds me of my old Ig, He's just beautiful. Another good book about Igs is Green Iguana, The ultimate owner's manual. It also has some very nice cage plans in the book. You can find more information on the book at iguana.com

Heh, I love your pictures icon_smile.gif Recently Im starting to warm up to iggies - Ive never been a fan in the past - and that is a lovely looking beastie. If I didnt already have my eye on a pair of monkeytail skinks I think I would be rushing out to measure the remaining space in the front room...

Beautiful Iggy! I got one that was 42" long and had her for a month before she died. The person that owned her before me let her roam around the house and apparently ate some spare change (money). She died of Zinc Toxicity from a penny she ate. When I got her, she never ate well, but I thought that was normal for her. That was the only symptom until the day before she died. She started to have seizures and died within 24 hrs.

Anyways, sorry to steal your post! Just reminded me of the best Iggy I ever owned!

P.S. The moral of the story is dont let your reptiles roam around the house unattended.

Brad
