hey everyone my name is Mario and I just wanted to leave this post to say hi to the whole tegu community and introduce myself and some of my herps. I've always been a huge Tegu and monitor fan I’ve had a black throat monitor, a water monitor and a Timor. They’ve been awesome little guys and now I’ve got my first red tegu. I had a gold/black and white Columbian and it was the wildest thing I couldn't tame it at all so I looked into a Argentinean black and white and ive heard great things about them but I fell in love with the Argentinean red tegu... so I bought one and now I am a part of this community. Here are some pics of the my 3 fav lizards. Also I am going to post some pics of my tegu I posted something before this one asking someone to help me with some questions I had but anyway check out these pics.. Thanks alot for reading my post. Now let me introduce my herps. My red "Argentinean" name is spike. My Nosy Be panther is named kamikaze, and my beardie is named drago..

hey thanks alot.. I hope it burrows again.. lol i dug it up the last time. i had a question even if i am giving it time to adjust itself should i feed it in the cage? i've been taking it out and soaking it in warm water and trying to feed it outside of the cage. since i dont want to have any feeding accidents. should i just throw mice in its terrarium? thanks alot. that really helped me out i am not going to bug it for the next week or so. It looks like a Argentinean right? i have doubts because of the it doesnt have 2 scales i forget what they're called the loreal scales. i saw it in one of the previous forums.
