nah dude, it's cool, i was just givin you tips on how to make your poll more legitimate. Anywho, all that aside. Your iggy is not in any pain, that's a natural thing they do do escape predators, and in this case, it was you. Just remember, if you are trying to grab him and you get the tail, let go as fast as humanly possible, and it shouldn't happen again, just keep his food and water in good supply and put some triple antibiotic ointment on the tip of the tail and it should heal (turn into a black nub looking thing) in a short time. Then it will slowly get longer and longer and eventually, the tail will be back, darker in color and not as long as it would have been originally. it happens, a lot of people have done it, i did it when i was younger, there isn't much you can do but learn from the experience. Iggys can be great, they aren't a good starter pet, as they get rather large and can have temper problems at times. Just handle your little guy a lot and you won't have to worry about the temper thing. if you just got your little guy, give him a week or so to just get used to his new surroundings, make sure he has water, food, and a nice place to hide. and just leave him be so he can adjust. I'd say at least a week with no handling at all unless totally nesscessary, and try not to bug him much. Then after that you should be all set. Make sure you have a huge variety in foods. That's all i got right now, ask some specific questions if you think of any, and if you are too embarrassed to ask (even though you shouldn't be) just PM me. -Art-
