I just attended the rhcp in concert last night in raliegh and I must say it completed my life. Their live performance is better than their recorded stuff on a CD. With most bands it is usually the opposite. I have had tickets since the day they came out months ago. If you can find tickets you must attend this thing. Their last tour was a couple years ago and you will be slapping yourself if you miss it.

I saw them in Toronto in September, two days after I saw Tool. Personally, I thought Tool was a much better show.. but that's not to downplay RHCP. My two most favourite bands have always been these two.. it was pure coincidence their stops were days apart. As much as I like RHCP's new stuff.. I still can't get into it as much as I can with their earlier albums. Blood Sugar Sex Magik and before is what I like.. particularly the albums "What Hits?" and "Out In L.A." These are from their roots.. the punk/funk. It's so unique.. I love it.

yeah i love tool as well. They didnt play as much stadium arcadium as everybody expected but that is a good thing. I love their older albums(californication,blood sugar) and they played alot of it. They opened with can't stop and the lights and everything were just amazing.
