how do i put images on these forums?

i dont really get it maybe im just dumb or something but i wanna put some pics of my tegu on here and im having some trouble

Okay, first of all, taken from http://thetegu.com/contentid-25.html

First you need to have your pictures hosted online. I ask that you host them on theTegu.com so that the picture will always be here and there will not be dead links to the pictures weeks, months or years down the road.

To make your own photo album in the photo galleries, go HERE.

Once you have an album and uploaded some of your pictures you can go into your album, find the picture you want to use in your forum post.

Place your mouse cursor over the picture. Right click and choose "Properties". Here, under the General tab you will see "Address (URL)". Highlight the address, it will look like...

'http://www.thetegu.com/modules/Gallery/albums/album#/my_picture_of_my_tegu.jpg'

Now that the "Address (URL)" is highlighted the text has turned white on a blue background. Make sure all of the address is highlighted, then right click on any highlighted (blue) area and choose "Copy".

The address to your picture is now loaded into memory. Now for the easy part...

Go into 'The Forums', go into the thread you want to reply to or make your own post.

While typing your message find the spot you want the picture to show up, click the 'Img' button (located under the subject field).
It will create an [Img] tag in the Message Body, right click right behind that and choose 'Paste'. Lastly, just press the 'Img*' button again (below the subject field) and you will see a closing [/Img] tag behind your address.

Your link now looks like...

Finish your message, Preview, then Post. Done!

Note: It may sound a little complicated but once you do it once, it is pretty simple.

If so, please PM me the link to your pictures that you want to post and we will go from there. I am working on my cage so I am back and forth but I will help you as much as I can!
