black and white tegu for sale in Mass.

I have an argentine black and white tegu that's about 2 feet long. I will include his cage, lighting, bedding,and all the frozen mice I have left w/ him. There's an adoption fee of $250/b.o. to make sure he goes to a good home. The cage is 32"L x 20"W x 24"H. He's a little bit of a show off when you first take him out of the cage, but I've had him for a year now and he has never bit me. I'm not quite sure how old he is. I got him at a reptile show in New Hampshire last year and he was about a 1/3 of the size he is now.

Pay all this money into him,just to sell him a year later?

I'm don't enjoy the fact that I must sell him but I need the money to put towards college because it's not cheap
