I don't have any photos ready to post, but I have a video I took and posted on youtube.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7H5AHkoRbt4

On the left is our cat, Hazel, being absolutely enthralled by the new family member.

The enclosure is temporary while I build him a bigger one that should last a year, maybe two. I'll have pictures of that eventually as well.

Awesome video, also very nice looking setup icon_smile.gif . But like you said it is way too small. I would also watch the temps, it could get too hot and your tegu does not have enough room to find a cool spot. Tegus can overheat.

One other thing, what kind of bedding are you using? It looks dry, this could cause problems as well. Tegus need about 70% humidity.

Actually, we're having a problem keeping the temp up. I don't know the bulb we use offhand, but it seems its primary function is to produce UVB. It's rather sucky when it comes to generating heat.

As for the bedding, it's Aspen (nothing harmful, I assure you). Again, just temporary. Once the new enclosure is finished, we're gonna get something better. Just hope I can get it finished soon (I don't have a carpenters bone in my body, so I'm kinda flying by the seat of my pants).
