Hello everyone,

I received my 2 babies on Friday....thank you very much Rick. They are gorgeous and fascinating to watch. Since these guys are new to me, I tend to be a bit paranoid about everything they do, or don't do. They eat, drink and poop...so I guess we are off to a good start. hahahaha

Can't wait to learn more.
LisaN
By the way, I'm in AZ....anyone else close?

I order for my 2 from rodentpro.com, good services and good prices if you order enough to make the shipping worthwhile. My order was 400 mice (fuzzies and hoppers) and 100 quail chicks (my guys love these BTW), and it worked out to ~$.30 per including shipping.

I have ordered from Rodent Pro and American Rodent Supply.
I have had a good experience with both.
I am in the 2 day shipping zone for American so it's free shipping but to make up for the shipping they charge more for their mice.

OK......what size of pinky do I feed? I don't know how old my babies are, they still have green on their heads, but they can eat large crickets with no problem. Rodentpro has X-small, small, and reg. size pinkies. I suppose with X-small I can just feed more and won't have to worry about them being too big.
HEY, can you over feed these guys? I know I've heard feed them all they want, but mine will eat, look miserable and even breath kinda hard afterwards. They remind me of Grandpa after Thanksgiving dinner. : )

Mine were able to eat regular pinkies from the beginning and I got them when they were < 2 weeks old.

If you are ordering bulk I would order 100 regular pinkies and then 100-200 peach fuzzies and/or reg fuzzies, you'll be surprised how fast they grow. Just check out my gallery, mine are 7 weeks old now.

I also highly recommend the quail chicks.

Mine have eaten enough to look like stuffed sausages laying on their basking rock (they other day they ate 1 quail chick and 4 fuzzies each). By the next day they are always ready for more.
