I found a free 2 year old amelanistic corn snake on CraigsList. With free 20 gallon tank and accessories. What do you think?? We may pick it up Saturday afternoon. Our 10 year old son has always wanted a corn.

looks good, did they say why they were giving it and the stuff away for free?
I have 2 corns and they are awesome!
He said he has to move very soon and will have to show the apartment at a moments notice. The only problem is he isn't supposed to have pets. He did'nt think anyone would be interested so he put it up for free. _________________ 1.1 Blue Tegu +21 EGGS, 1.0 Red Tegu, 0.1 B&W Arg. Tegu

Wow, you really got lucky! Cornsnakes are great pets, not quite a pushover like ball pythons, but not aggressive either...just a little attitude when needed. lol Not sure if you've ever owned one, but they are great escape artists, they are constantly moving around the cage and if there is any opening at all they'll find it. I had one that learned how to push open the screen on top of his cage, but he went straight to his favorite fake ficus tree in the living room, however the next time he escaped from his new cage he wasn't quite as easy to find. Just warning ya to check and double check the cage before you go to bed...i think they can pick locks with their tails!
