Ok well today I got a new infrared temp gun even though I already had one but good thing I did because I found out my other one was off by 10 or more degrees. Anyway my basking spot was usually 105 to 115 and one time it got to 117 but that was with the crappy gun and my new gun shows that it was really 115-135. now it has only gotten to 115 with the crappy gun wich is really 130-135 like 4 times and is usually at 105-110 which is really 115-125. It has only been like this for a little over 3 weeks and my tegu was just a little hatchling when I got him and is now a little over 60 grams he has been acting and looking healthy since I got him except for his irritated vent which I think is from the superworms I have been feeding him. But anyway do you think he is alright? He couldnt have burned himself right? Ok rant over.
