Hello,
I have an 8 month old argen. b&w tegu. I took it home from college this weekend and when my mom decided to fiddle with it, she dropped the light into the cage and the fixture cut off about 8 inches of his tail . Will he be able to regrow it?

yeah the tail will regrow but most of the time it will be completely black. they also have the ability to drop their tail so it would be pointless for it not to be ablet to regrow. _________________ "To be great is to be misunderstood. . ."
Well, I went to the pet store, and got some repti-wound cream and vitamin spray. He seems to be doing good. The wound is now sealed, he never even bled much. He seems healthy, still eats, climbs, sleeps, poops, etc. all like he normally does.
well thats good. best wishes to both of you and yeah im pretty sure itl regrow over time. _________________ Goals:100 posts DONE!

wont work like it used to? it will probably work just as it did before just wont look as good lol. and that book talks about tegu monitors? tegu's are teiids they arnt even in the same species as monitors i think monitors are like varanus. so not even the same family lol. ask rick in a pm see what he thinks he really smart when it comes to tegu's. _________________ Goals:100 posts DONE!
