Hi Andrzej.Welcome to the tegu forum. My baby tegu has been sick, too.I took him to the vet and he gave me a syringe without the needle. He told me to force feed him some baby food ( turkey/chicken with gravy or with vegetable). My tegu is doing a lot better now.Make sure he drinks some water or mix it with the baby food so he/she will not get dehydrated.Mabe you should take him/her to the vet. Please keep us posted on how he/she is doing.Take care and good luck.

you said,

is in some bad shape.

did you know something about dehydration? called in human very dusty.

try to give him as many water as you can.... if his folds are to strong or his tail is very thin.

if there wasn't any problems with drinking, gave him baby mash with meat inside carefully! with a squirt.

please have a look about the frontside of this forum about the literature and books.

get a visit to a vet and be carefull about the transport. put him easy in a bag and don't let him getting cold.

if he getting clear you can handle him like any other tegu.. (not about the temprature and lights!)

i hope, you are able to understand icon_wink.gif

A sick animal is so hard to deal with. You can feel hopeless and you try to figure out what's wrong and address it and they can't help. I hope things turn out well for you and that you're new pet recovers and provides you with much joy and fun.
