lmao i watched the videos about that lady drowning her savanahs and "saving" them at the last moment.
then right after i watched a video making fun of her stupidness saying sarcastickely " toilets work too" _________________ Goals:100 posts DONE!

hi, I have a <now> large savanah monitor and he is like a big, heavy puppy. as like most reptiles don't put your hand in there when he is in chase of his meal. he does enjoy laying in the bath but not for as long as my tegu. he even likes being snuggled, lay on lap and pet him and will fall asleep in my bed .
I also have a nile monitor. when I first got him I got bit alot then sometimes he would pee all over my hands and wind up his tail and boy can he whip. now, nothing really...if I get to close he will hit me lightly with that tail maybe...he has his nasty days. _________________ 0.1.0 B/W Colombian tegu

funny as it seems.. out of them all I was scared of him the most <friend had one [/i]extremely mean[/i]. like the rest of my babies, when I brought him home I just put my hand right in there and yes he was cranky and try to intimidate me by opening his mouth wide open as if to bite me and making this kind of hallow, hissing sound the long and short of it is ... as with all I just feed them on time and kept going in his house about two, three times a day. I think he just gave up on me, probably thought I was crazy or something _________________ 0.1.0 B/W Colombian tegu

oh no he sure didn't. when I would go in his house <like the others> I slowly get closer to him and I start petting him around the ears. they all seem to like that. then I would slide my hand underneath him bring him out lay him on my shoulder as I was holding him I just start petting him and he would calm down as if it put him to sleep. since then he expects to come out at least once a day and just like a baby he requires/needs alot of attention or he actually does get 'noticably cranky and won't eat. turns out as big as he is 'Bear' actually seems sensitive _________________ 0.1.0 B/W Colombian tegu
