The gloves are for my hands protection. lol he has really long nails up to 1/2'' and they are pretty sharp. i havent trimmed them in a while so i wore the gloves because i didnt feel like bleeding today. lol hes amazingly tame but hes about 5-6lbs(i weighed him a few weeks ago so thats a good guess) _________________ "To be great is to be misunderstood. . ."

Hoosier as long as you like ( or love ) him the way he is you shouldn't worry about if other people might think that he is to small.He is your Tegu.Don't for get we are not perfect either and our Tegus still love/trust us and still have to live with us as long as we want to keep them.So why should we be picky .Just be happy that he is healthy and tame that is all it should matter right.
