Yes so that's it, tomorrow I am going to trade my adult Blue Tongue Skink (Kawaii) for a beautiful and cool baby Bearded dragon I'm so happy. icon_biggrin.gif

I guess that this blue tongue skink, wasn't made for me. icon_sad.gif

However, he/she is going to be so nice! icon_biggrin.gif

If this is your first beardie you're in for a treat. They are super tame and so easy to take care of. *Word of advice*: If you live close to the beach you probably shouldn't take them. Mine were terrified of seagulls, which I didn't find out about until I got them there. My wife and I must have looked so stupid chasing down freaked out lizards on the beach. LOL

Txrepgirl, yes I am a bit dissapointed that it Didn't work with my beautiful Kawaii. But I have to understand that she was the kind of "exception". I try to show her that I wasn't an ennemi and it didn't work. But It gives me a good experience, seeing what is a untamed lizard icon_sad.gif It also taught me that buying an adult untamed reptile is a very bad Idea. However, I will post some photo and video as soon as possible. For the name, I guess that I am going to named it Ureshii, which mean in Japanese "Happy" because they always have a nice kind face and Interaction!

Tallbaldntatt2ed, thanks for the advice icon_wink.gif But I live in Quebec and they are no beautiful beach there lol, just snow icon_razz.gif Yes, beardies are so funny, I just pass in front of their enclosure in the pet shop and they are like looking at us with so much curiosity.

However thanks for the comment icon_biggrin.gif

Yes Kawaii will probably find a new home fast, when I made the trade with the boss of the petshop, one of the employee already fall in love with her. I am happy that this BTS will probably bring joys to another person. icon_biggrin.gif

I am going to have my new Bearded Dragon today or tomorrow. He is 5'' long, which is very small, so It going to be much easier to tame him. icon_biggrin.gif

I know Ben3233 that you did try your best to tame Kawaii.Beardies are great. Our Memphis is always making us laugh.I used to have to spray him down when he was to hot and he loves it but not to long ago he had a bad shed so I gave him a bath in the bathtub and he freaked out.We just got him (as a adult ) last year in October and I don't know if he ever had a bath before. It didn't look like it.But when he was in the tub and was scared I put my hand under neath him and petted him and he started to like it.Now the past few days he is going in his water bowl and is taking a bath on his own icon_lol.gif .He looks so funny when he keeps swimming around in circle.Good luck with Ureshii.

I got him today here the story,

The guy told me that he was 5' and when I saw him he was like 5 cm icon_eek.gif I was like...euh are you kidding? He is smaller than my little finger! Little beardies like this have 1/5 chance to die, I am not interested with it. So I saw another beardies in one enclosure he was like 18 cm, much bigger, So I said I am going to take this one. The guy told me ok, you are going to pay 40$ for it, I asked him why, my BTS was adult, never bitten, totally healthy and I bought him 250$, beardies are 100$. He told me that this one was 140$, I was like omg icon_evil.gif That's not cool and totally not fair, but I bought him no matter what.

Finally I bring him at home and I take him out, he is already tame, do not run away like my little BTS. Very active and curious, he is always on his basking spot. He eats a lot and he is so jumpy! I was sitting and watching tv today with him and he jump down! icon_eek.gif He scared me to death, but he was okay. I am so impatient to see him fully grow. icon_biggrin.gif

Yes, I was a bit angry, but whatever, only 40$ it's not the end of the world lol icon_lol.gif . He is adorable, very active and I guess in a couple month he will be calmer.

Can't wait to see him bigger!!! icon_biggrin.gif
