So i started to build the outside enclosure 2 days ago....and well, now it's done icon_biggrin.gif

Will only leave a few rocks and some wood in there for now and fill it up when spring comes. Almost autumn here now so it's not worth buying any mulch or bark...it will rot.

Anyhow she was out working with me all day and she seemed to enjoy it....only basking in the natural sun again was enough to make her hyper active icon_biggrin.gif

I don't know who is more lucky, you or Juancha, that you already had that building and fence there. What an easy job to close it in.

Boy that is a mean looking wound on her face. It's good to know they can survive something like that. And with no medical care!

Great job i0r! Thank you for doing it. icon_biggrin.gif

Looks great! You've done a great job rescuing the tegu and it looks like he really appreciates it, well done.

Thank you guys.....I know her indoor space would be more than enough for any tegu, but she's not captive bred and i some what sensed that she wasnt so happy being inside all the time. Thats why i rushed things a bit and prepared the outside for her. And she has improved tons since she got out in the sun. She lets me pick her up all the time, she climbs over me.....she even kissed me in my face icon_biggrin.gif And yes, a good pic of her face up there, where you can see what she's been going through. So she totally deserves a good home where she can relax and don't worry about a thing.

And yes. My wife likes Juancha. She even got into the enclosure the other day and Juancha went to smell her legs. She got a bit nervous but kept calm. She never held a lizard in her life, so i understand. I'm glad she's trying to accept Juancha and wants to socialize with her. Once Juancha is more tame i'll let them 2 spend some time alone.

Ohh....btw. I decided not to call her Juancho anymore, because i had a hard time treating her as a her. So to make things more easy i changed it to Juancha icon_biggrin.gif
