Id like to have two. Should i get 2 reds and a black, or two blacks and a red? i hear the reds diet is fruit demanding so it could be easier to maintain two blacks. or a black and a red..

i supposed id really like some chacoans instead of blacks. Is anybody selling them around 160 this year?

i mean.. bigger and friendlier is better..

Hi

We have a Argentine Red and yes they do require lots of fruit & veg.........But here is the problem whilst they require it they don't always eat it willingly so if you should go with a red, a trick that I learnt from the guys on here is to hide fruit and veg in their meat and that way they will eat it without even noticing icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif

Soon enough ill be moving into a row home where id like my tegus to free roam in my home with me. I can fill up a small room with hay and leave the door open so they have the option to leave their room or to stay.. umm

I was pretty sure that the admin doesnt have any reds or chacoans available.. though thatd be my ideal combination if i had a million dollors! only thing is chacoans can run a hefty amount. the money spent on one chacoan from bobby could almost be spent on 4 reds or b&w's.

I want BIG and friendly, I want to ride it down the street (not really).

Welcome Tegutegutegutegu to the Tegu forum family. It is all up to you on how tame your Tegu is going to be.You have to spend A LOT of time with them.Good luck with finding some that you like.Don't for get that your Tegus need a lot of humidity so I don't know if keeping them just in a room will do it.I recommend building them a enclosure.
