I have heard from many people that red tegu's need to be cared for differently and have different health issues. What care do they require that may be different them what i'm used to?

they need a constant level of humidity and fruit in the diet. Even if they have both they may still have skin issues and trouble shedding, they suffer from ringing when shed gets stuck to the toes and the toes fall off when the shed restricts blood flow
