I have a B&W tegu and he shed a few weeks ago and his tail never fully fell off. I was wondering if there is something i can do to get that old skin off his tail? My tegu is young, only about 21 inches long.
thanks, deke[/img]

Try soaking him in some warm water for 15 to 20 minutes, when he dries it should roll off easy. If not, try dabbing a little mineral oil (or some people use olive/vegetable oil) on your finger and rolling the skin off with that. Do not peal/pull on the stuck shed, it could cause skin problems, which is why I used the word "roll" prior. You should rub the skin and it should roll/flake off.

I hope this helps.
