ok well if you want to tell if they are still alive take them into a dark closet and hold them to a small flash ligh you should be able to see if they have veins inside or not if they do they are alive ( obviously:P) well all i can say is that raise baby birds that small could be the hardest thing to ever raise.. the eggs need to be turned and they need moisture too because they can dry out but not too much it cant be wet ...once the eggs hatch they need to be fed very often and through the night so if you are in school i dont think you will be able to do it you can buy a mixture to feed baby birds at the pet store... ive never had any luck with hatchling birds so good luck ( if you still have them hmm maybe i wrote that too late?)
