Bloods are heavy bodied snakes and don't need a tall enclosure as they do not really climb. Ideally, the length should be twice the full grown length of the snake and half that in width but realisticly as long as the snake can stretch out fully is ok. How old is your blood? Is it from Sumatra or Borneo? I have a young male Borneo short tail.
