WTF?

find an exotic vet, sounds like your lizard needs help.

it's messed up that they're making you wait.

Hope it turns out ok.

the sooner you get your tegu treated the better the chance will be for him to recover. obviously, your tegu is not going to get better on his own.

find another vet or call your vet and stress to him you tegu is not breathing and he can't wait or ask if there is another vet/hospital then can take him right now.

please get him help right away.

So I have some laxative for him and it worked right away, I had an xray done and there was something like sand in his intestine that he passed out lastnight. His gasping might be respiratory infection so I have him on antibiotics. He's running around again, especially when I try to give him his meds, I am longer scared of his future. Thanks all for the concern

I love happy endings or in this case a healthy beginning icon_cool.gif like you said now comes the fun part ....giving meds.

I found out the hard way about sand with my sav. that was expensive. I was using walnut shells for bedding icon_confused.gif .

I wish Juice a very healthy future and hope to see you both around.
