God damn vets the sooner you get your tegu treated the better the chance will be for him to recover. obviously, your tegu is not going to get better on his own. find another vet or call your vet and stress to him you tegu is not breathing and he can't wait or ask if there is another vet/hospital then can take him right now. please get him help right away. His gasping might be respiratory infection so I have him on antibiotics. He's running around again, especially when I try to give him his meds, I am longer scared of his future. I found out the hard way about sand with my sav. that was expensive. I was using walnut shells for bedding . I wish Juice a very healthy future and hope to see you both around.
