I am picking up a new enclosure next week. So far my Tegu is 8-10 inches and in a 20 gallon which is going to be too small in about a month so I am upgrading the enclosure my Tegu is in. I have the choice of a 36x18x18 or a 36x24x12. I plan to move my little bearded dragon to this enclosure once my tegu outgrows it, so that is my reason for not going big right away. What is everyones opinions on the two tanks. I am leaning toward the 36x24x12 because it has a larger base and I could use lower wattage bulbs to get the temperatures where I want them. Thank you.

Update: Instead of looking at those enclosures, I picked up a 48"X24"X24" enclosure and used ctpress mulch as the substrate. Being that my tegu is only 10 inches or so is it possible to fit anopther the same size in his enclosure until they get larger.
