Help me Tame my Tegu

I have a Hybrid Tegu(Argentine Black and White/Red Cross) and he/she is about 6 weeks old. (he just lost the green on his head, its more tanish brown now.)

Anyways, He Always Freaks out when I reach my hand in there to get him. But once I manage to get him out he calms down and walks on my hands and arms. How can i get him to let me scoop him up?

Everyday handle HANDLE HANDLE!Lol my tegu is lil more than a month old, still bit green!And hes pretty melo, he RARELY comes to me, sometime he will if i point and pound on ground lol!But yeah i handle bout and 30mins-1hour before Feeding.So sooner or later hell know if hes hungry hell come to me knowing hell be fed when regular handled before feedin =)

At 6 weeks, your little guy thinks he's everyone's dinner!

Give him some time and have a lot of patience. Just keep working with him and he'll turn around.
