can anyone help please my 2 year old tegu nemo wont sleep in his hide for some reason all of a sudden he sleeps on top is this a problem i need to address please help!!! [/b]

Hi gregor.I don't know why Nemo sleeps on top of his hide.But it is normal for them not wanting to sleep in there hide.Ususally they like to burrow down in to the mulch.How deep is your mulch ? do you have enough mulch in the enclosure for him to burrow in there ? maybe the hide is to small for him.What kind of hide do you use ? do you have some pictures of your enclosrue ?

when I looked at your pictures I remembered that I saw them before.Than I looked at when you joined the forum and I saw that you have been a member since a long time.I should of sad welcome back to the Tegu forum family and not just welcome.I love that enclosure.You did a great job with it .

thats okay txrepgirl tried using tegu chat but no one ever seems to be on it but i do live in the uk so maybe thats why lol thanks for the big up takin nemo to vet tonight think hes got some mouth rot gonna get a stool sample checked out too gross yeah

I hope he is going to be ok.What makes you think that he has mouth rot ? please keep us posted on how he is doing.Thanks and good luck at the vet.I wanted to check out the chat site but I was worried that if I started to chat I really never would get of the computer .

hello again txrepgirl well the vets put him on antibiotics for a week and hes clear of any internals which is good news just hope he gets better soon looks so misrable keep ya posted
