It says right in the ad that they're captive born and imported from Ghana. These are captive BORN not captive bred and born (which would be cbb). They go around and collect the eggs from wild balls in large numbers and hatch them out then export the babies to the US and various other countries. They're better than wild caught but still not as nice as a true CBB from a real breeder.

tegu_girl: It's not wild caught. Re-read what was just explained.
Available types are wild caught, captive born and captive bred (and born)
Those in the ad are captive born. Meaning the eggs may have been collected from a nest in the wild and the snake was born in captivity. The other option is that there were many wild caught snakes that were gravid and laid their eggs in captivity. Either way, the snakes are not wild caught. They are captive born (or captive hatched). This may not be as good as captive bred (and born) but its better then wild caught.
I dont think it matters if it is wc, cb or ch. In my opinion it is not neccesary to buy imported balls, There are so many true u.s.c.b babies availble I have six that I hatched myself, like the saying goes, "use your head, go captive bred" True that cb may be slightly better than wc, but they are nowhere near as good as true u.s.c.b. Email me if your looking for some true u.s.c.b ball pythons
thanks
