I have a 3 month old Tegu for sale. I don't know its gender. I'm selling the tegu for 100 plus shipping. The tegu about 20inches long. It eats almost anything you offer him. I currently live with my parents and they do not like the smell of bark or any lizard odor. The tegu's pics are in my photo album. I want him to have a nice home instead of releasing him in the wild. If anyone is interested, reply.
Whatever you do, please do NOT release it into the wild. Not only do I believe its illegal to release it outside of its native habitat, but you will be sentencing it to death; if not from starvation, from exposure or attack by predators/humans. If you must remove it from your home, take it to a vet or animal organisation that will find it a new owner.

He is located in Beaumont, Texas.
If you really need to get rid of him and have considered releasing him, why not offer him free to anyone willing to pay all shipping charges? Releasing him will likely be the end of him and possibly the start of a reptile ban in your state.
I'm selling him for $100 plus shipping. Shipping will be $30. If I'm alittle off, I will put in the rest. I'm sorry for saying the word "release". I was playing about that. Good thing people cared when I said that statement. He's very healthy. He's very tame. The tegu has never bit me or never tryed to. He scatches his glass when he wants to go roam. Very smart Tegu. The best lizard I've had since my previous tegu, the "Colombian". If your interested in him, email me vi3thuy409@yahoo.com

I bought him after the hurricane incident. Last week of October. So hes about 13 weeks. I think he was a week or 2 old before i got him. So I would guess hes around 15 weeks ago.
This tegu is very active. He's lights are on for 10hrs a day. Hes awake most of the time. I would say on average, hes awake 6hrs a day. Thats a pretty long period of time to be a wake for a baby tegu.
