If you have an adult tegu that is black and white and has one loreal scale (see Argentine vs Colombian in 'Helpful Info'), its either a blue tegu or an argentine black and white tegu.

Had to read that 3 times then go check the page you mentioned to ensure I wasnt that blond icon_razz.gif
Else we would have bought a colombian B&W...with the pattern of a argentine B&W...now that would be something icon_razz.gif

ain't it fun a baby teju icon_smile.gif

One thing though..
I think I read that its a baby tegu, in my opinion, letting a small teju that ain't fully 'tame' run wild in the room doesn't look to smart to me, you got catch it at some point and the change you scare the hell out of it is big. So next time it makes sure to stay even further away icon_smile.gif

I made mine's cage smaller so I don't have to chase it to grab it, until its fully trusting me.

Bris,

You are correct. That was a typo. Thank you for catching it.

Some people call it a "Death roll" because it's what gators/crocs do when they grab meat and rip it from a body. They grab and roll until they get bite size chunks. Thus the name death roll. Tegus will occasionally do the same thing but not to rip food from a larger source, it's normally just to get free of a good grasp.

Can't wait to see the new pics. Again, I am glad you found the lost tegu. icon_smile.gif
