Honestly its my experience like all reptiles, they do what they want WHEN they want. Meaning.... they don't want to eat because of some unforseen issue going on in your tegus life. Maybe its cold maybe its stressed maybe it just feels like a fatty. Trial and error is really the only way to find out. I find tegu's much like birds get offered tons of food and ignore or waste half of it. My tegus ate like monsters then the last month or so they barely touch food. Now that its coming into summer again they are chomping down like crazy people.

Mate don't know what to tell you.....you've struggled with this for so long time now. She must be really weak. Have you tried a wide range of different foods?? Sweet fruits, mice, hamsters, mealworms?? I still think it's strange if she dosent eat live food such as mice....their basic instinct should at least make her attack a mouse. Does she at least attack?? or react to live food???
Did you try to mix diff foods with raw eggs??

Keep us posted mate

No I haven't tried the raw egg yet.

I talked to so many vets here and finally found one who has dealt with bearded dragons and will do a fecal exam so I will do that as soon as possible I am making an appt tommorow.

She walks around and when I hold her she still trys to struggle when I syringe feed her.
I am going to try to pick up an new enclosure for her this week.

Is she to big for the enclosure that she is in right now ? the reason I'm asking is because since she is so weak right now I wouldn't make any changes. It would because her to stress out even more.Did you check the temps on your basking spot ? if the basking temps are not right the metabolism will not work right. If she doesn't eat by her self and you do have to feed her with the syringe try to get some Nutro ( brand ) caned dog food for puppies. The puppy kind is for sensitive stomachs and has less fat ( mix it with some luke warm water if you use the syringe other wise it will be to thick ).When my baby arg.b/w Tegu had the runs for 5 days I was worried so I took him to the vet and that's what he recommended me doing ( so I didn't come up with the dog food my REPTILE vet did ).Also try to get some chicken/turkey with gravy baby food and put some calcium and vitamine powder in it and give that to her with the syringe ( that is a nother thing the vet told me to do ).What do you usually feed your Tegu ? if you need a menu let me know.I have one that I got from Rick the breeder and admin from this forum.Hope that helps and good luck at the vet. Please keep us posted.
