I have a question for you, how are you going to house these HUGE monsters? Do you have many rooms?, It's the first time I saw somebody having 4 big snakes like these, I guess they are very important for you.
Good luck with them! _________________ Ben3233

Thanks for the info.Don't worry you will love the Tegu.My boyfriend ( Bryan ) asked me 4 years ago to get one and I sad no because they get SO big.So last October I went to our reptile store to get a feeder rat for our Ball Python and I saw a Tegu there. But it was very mean.He tried to bite me and hissed at me so I asked them if they are going to get a different one in and they sad no but I could order one.And I did.Two days later I got a phone call from them and they sad they got it in.I took Bryan to the store ( he didn't know why I wanted him to go with me ).When we opened the box he was SO small. He was about 2 1/2 weeks old.He had the most beautiful green head I have ever seen.He has been tame from day one.Now he takes naps with me and eats out of my hand some times. When we went back to the reptile store to get more feeders in December they had a nother black and white one and we bought him,too ( Zeus ).I saw a red baby Tegu at Petland and I'm so close to get that one, too, because they don't take good care of him and I feel so sorry for that little fella. They had him on some stuff that looked like bird seeds so I brought in some of my cypress mulch.I have been there for the last 3 days to check on him.He is so cute and he doesn't hiss or whip the tail around or try to bite.He even let me kiss him on his head.Sorry for making it so long.Good luck with finding the Tegu that you want. Can't wait until May to see some more pictures. Please tell your girlfriend " good choice with getting a Tegu ".
