I bought another tegu yesterday

he will strike anything that moves fast past his face so if you move your hand in front of him he tries to eat it

you go jose. I agree they do have great personalities. it looks like you make wonderful homes for them, really good to see that. this big guy looks very comfy.

thank you, I really appreciate that. I love setting up the cage just as much as the tegu's it's hard work but fun and I like to play with different options to see what works best, It's cool to be able to have it so dialed in that depending on how hot or cold it is outside I can tell you what cage temps will be and humidity levels.

thank you curty,he is a good looking boy he has some strange coloration on his neck like solid grey , I will take some more picks and post them

jose, I also like the way they kick back (like in your pic) and stretch their legs back.

and when they are roaming around that strut they have .......the wiggle. oh, I can go on.

I think it's enjoyable also to play around with things in their house and see what they like better and no matter what the temp outside you can play mother nature in their home. I have assorted bulbs too for when it's too hot, too cold ....etc.
