Hey guys, its been a long time since I've posted. I'm currently fostering an adult tegu, in the three year old range. He's unfortunately thin, Im in the process of fattening him up. I suck at sexing, Im assuming it's male, but I could be horribly wrong. I wish I had room for him, but with a new puppy, and full time work and class, it's just not going to happen. He's a shade over 40 inches, mostly black, has all his toes, but is missing a few toenails. He had a bad shed and has a slight discoloration on his tail, I'll attempt to put up some pictures later.
I'd prefer not to ship him. He's big and I dont want to take the risk. I'm willing to travel a fair amount to drop him off tho, Im in the Philadelphia area, on the NJ side.
hi yeahitsdave, I am in bucks county and I could probably walk to nj from here a pic would be nice. how long did you have him ? healthy ? I would like to take him.
he is healthy, ill get pics up tonight. he eats anything put in front of him, i've had him less than a week. like i said, he's just a little underfed, but in good shape. i'm in the cherry hill/moorestown area of nj so i could easily drop him off. ill get some pics up in a bit so you can see him

Celeste.Since your mom ( angelrose ) is getting a nother Tegu you have to be even more careful with your bird .We don't want to get that one eaten, too.Good luck with him/her.
Celeste loves that little bird so much. not only does she have the bird but she has the hamster (furrball), two red ear slider turtles (tina & ted), two fish and recently a drwarf rabbit (cottonball).
we did replace her bedroom door and already there are scratches at the botton from the tegus trying to get in ...lol
