If you've already got plans for a cage. Just go for it and try to build it. You'll never learn unless you make an attempt. Just know that whenever you build something it is never permanent. You can always fix and adjust what didn't work or what you dont like. You just and learn. Just go for it. The experience you gain from the attempt will be worth it anyway.
